Ishfaq Ahmed Khan, father of Younas Sohail Khan, manager, Human Resource, Sales and Marketing, Business Recorder and Aaj TV, died of cardiac arrest here on Monday morning. He was 80. He left behind a widow, three sons, and two daughters to mourn his death. He was laid to rest in an Islamabad graveyard in Sector H-11 in the evening.
Earlier, hundreds of people from different walks of life, including media attended the funeral near his residence in Sector I-9/1. Ishfaq Ahmed spent last days of his life in Islamabad with his sons, including Sohail, after retirement from Wapda in Multan. Business Recorder Islamabad Bureau chief Ikramul Haq Sheikh and all other colleagues expressed their heart-felt condolence to Sohail and the bereaved family. His Qul will be held at 8000 hours on Tuesday (today).
